FilmNest ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how FilmNest, developed by Audi Padilangga / BRG Developer, handles information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

FilmNest does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

All information you enter into FilmNest (including photos, roll details, camera information, film types, locations, and any other metadata) is stored locally on your device only. We have no access to this information.

Photo Library Access

FilmNest requests access to your device's photo library solely to allow you to import film scans into the app. This access is required for the app to function. The photos you select:

• Remain on your device only
• Are not uploaded to any server
• Are not transmitted to us or any third party
• Are organized locally within the app

Location Information

FilmNest allows you to manually add location tags to your rolls. This information:

• Is entered manually by you
• Does not use GPS or location tracking
• Is stored locally on your device only
• Is never transmitted to us or any third party

No Third-Party Services

FilmNest does not use any third-party services for analytics, advertising, or data collection, including:

• Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
• Advertising networks
• Social media integrations
• Cloud storage services
• Crash reporting services

Purchases

FilmNest offers the following pricing tiers:

• Free Tier: Up to 5 rolls with full functionality
• Lifetime Purchase: $0.99 one-time payment for unlimited rolls

When you make a purchase:

• All payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store
• We do not collect or have access to your payment information
• Your purchase status is managed by RevenueCat (our payment processor)
• RevenueCat stores minimal information to verify your purchase status
• Apple may collect transaction information according to their privacy policy

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage purchases. RevenueCat:

• Stores your Apple ID receipt to verify purchase status
• Does not collect any personal information beyond what's necessary for purchase verification
• Operates under their own privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
• All data is encrypted and handled securely

Data Storage and Security

Since all data remains on your device:

• Your data is protected by your device's security measures (passcode, biometric authentication, etc.)
• We cannot access, recover, or restore your data
• If you delete the app or lose your device, your data cannot be recovered by us
• Backing up your device (via iCloud or iTunes) will back up your FilmNest data as part of your device backup

Offline Functionality

FilmNest is designed to work completely offline:

• All core features function without internet connection
• Internet is only required for making purchases or restoring purchases
• Your premium status is cached locally for offline access
• No data is transmitted to our servers during normal use

Children's Privacy

FilmNest does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. Since we do not collect any data at all, our app is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

GDPR Compliance (European Users)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA):

• We do not collect or process any personal data
• There is no data to request, access, rectify, erase, or port
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies
• We do not transfer data outside the EEA (because we don't collect data)
• RevenueCat handles purchase verification in compliance with GDPR

CCPA/CPRA Compliance (California Users)

For users in California, USA:

• We do not sell, share, or disclose personal information (because we don't collect it)
• We do not use your information for targeted advertising
• There is no personal information to request disclosure of or deletion of
• We do not discriminate against users who exercise privacy rights
• RevenueCat processes only purchase verification data necessary for the service

Since FilmNest does not collect any personal information beyond purchase verification, California privacy rights regarding data access, deletion, and sale/sharing do not apply to locally stored data.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect any data:

• You have complete control over all information in the app
• You can delete any or all data by deleting rolls or uninstalling the app
• There is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete upon request
• Purchase history is managed by Apple and can be viewed in your Apple ID account

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app and on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of FilmNest after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

No Account Creation or Email Communications

FilmNest does not require account creation and does not send any emails, notifications, or communications to users.
